GliderCG Scale
GliderCG Scale is our larger CoG balancer for models ranging from 7oz to 88lbs.
GliderCG Scale is suited for much larger planes that the smaller GliderCG product is unable to measure - models weighing up to 88lbs with wingspans of up 26'.
We have made sure the stability of the scale supports these larger models by enlarging and strengthening the base and the frame. Additionally, we wanted this scale to be able to measure much smaller models at 17oz or less.
This smaller GliderCG scale has a shorter chord than their larger versions - this is why we decided to install sliding rear supports to firmly hold any chord without impairing any control surfaces.
GliderCG Scale features a sensor in each of the four legs, thus providing very accurate results for CG and lateral measurements.
By using four sensors, we eliminate the torsional stress of the planes to obtain stable values while the plane is placed on the GliderCG Scale.
Additionally, the GliderCG Scale can calculate the CG of the model in the lateral axis, providing additional information for balancing purposes.
